HistoryHound 2.3.6 is a free update
for all registered HistoryHound users.
This release adds support for macOS 26 Tahoe and the Floorp browser, improves the extraction of text from web pages, uses HTML metadata when there's very little text on a page, and fixes several bugs.
If you already use HistoryHound, just download
and install the new version — HistoryHound
will preserve your license information.
If you're new to HistoryHound, download
it and give it a try. You'll be glad you
did!
- Updated for macOS 26 Tahoe.
- Corrected various user interface issues.
- Added support for Safari profiles and Floorp
- Improved the extraction of text from web pages.
- When a web page contains very little text, the page's keyword and description metadata will also be indexed.
- The background color of HistoryHound's web preview pane matches the system Light or Dark mode.
- Fixed an issue with the welcome splash screen when you run HistoryHound for the first time.
- The contents of the web preview is cleared when a result is no longer selected.
- Fixed a bug that could remove all filter entries in the Settings window.
